MED (Mambo Extensions Directory) is a free service provided for
Sigsiu.NET
Every person or company can submit their extension in MED but there are
some rules. By listing with MED, you agree to the rules, terms of use,
and disclaimers.
Listing
Rules
- First of all: be respectfully. Respect is the first and the
best rule of this site.
- All extensions listed in the directory must be described in
English
- You must be honest in your representation and description
of your product or service.
- We reserve the right to place your listing in the category
we believe
it is best suited for. You may suggest a category but we have the final
say so on where it is placed
- We do not spam your email address. We just send emails to
let you know
we received your listing, that your listing has been updated or that
some one wrote a review for your listing. If those emails bounce, your
listing can be removed. If you are afraid of receiving those few emails
we are afraid to list your extension.
- All listing packages must be approved before your listing
will be posted.
- All extensions must be installable on the Mambo CMS. Unless
the applications is listed in the 'Tools' category.
- Extension home site MUST have real content.
- Extension home and demo sites cannot links to link farms,
casinos,
pharmacies, sites with adult content or site we deem inappropriate.
- Sigsiu.NET can unpublish any extension without explanation.
Voting and Reviews Rules
- All reviews must be in English.
- You may only cast one vote or review per extension
- You may not rate an extension to artificially inflate the
rating or vote count.
- You may not cast your vote or add your review of a
extension if you are
affiliated in any way with the listed extension or any of its
developer(s)/author(s).
- You may not give negative votes to other extensions who are
in competion for rating ranks, or to submit votes to extensions which
offer similar functionality.
- Do not write support for requests in review
- Don't leave any Negative Feedback (ie. 1 or 2 star rating)
without
careful consideration of the consequences. You (and you alone) are
FULLY RESPONSIBLE for feedback you leave and any liability resulting
from it. Please remember that any Negative Feedback can dramatically
affect the future of any extension.
- Don't leave any Negative Feedback without making sure you
have configured this extension correctly.
- Critique
the product, not the developer. Do not discuss the personality of the
developer. This is for reviewing extension and services, not personal
characteristics.
- Do no put link to websites in review, which have illegal
content, porn, etc.
- Respect the copyrights of other people, websites, software
and printed media.
- Do not use all caps (this is interpreted as YELLING).
- All malicious, vulgar, or unsubstantiated reviews may be
removed/not published.
Any accounts found in violation of these rules may be barred from this
website and reported for legal action. Additionally all extensions
owned by the user will be unpublished from the MED for a time.
